Doors open at 11:00 a.m.
Everyone is invited to attend the annual Open House of our local history and genealogy group at the Clarence Township Hall. There will be many displays of local interest to see including:
Family bibles, photographs, and family histories,
Learn about genealogy societies from the tri-county area: Eaton, Jackson and Calhoun,
See the veteran’s memorial and the Davis School bell display sponsored by our group,
Representatives from the Jackson County Genealogy Society,
Several books will be available at the Open House,
Other items of interest will include projects sponsored by the Duck Lake Geneology Group, pictures of local people, and other family memorabilia.
We have the largest display of family memorabilia from the area gathered in one place. We are a local group of people interested in preserving local history and family from Jackson, Calhoun, and Eaton counties.
